Enrolment
How old must my child be to enrol?
Most of our courses are designed for students aged 9 to 16. Some products, like the STEM Discovery Kit, are aimed at children as young as 8. Every product page lists a recommended age range.
How are cohorts assigned?
Cohorts are assigned by school year and language level rather than country or time zone. Sessions are recorded and made available for 30 days so students in distant time zones can catch up; we also try to schedule cohorts in time zones that work for the majority of the group.
What if my child needs to drop out partway through a term?
Up to fourteen days before the cohort starts, you can cancel for a full refund. After the course begins, we offer a pro-rata credit toward a future term. See our refund policy.

Which countries do you ship to?
We ship physical items to forty-one countries across Europe, North America, Oceania and parts of Asia. Full list and shipping times are on the shipping page.
What does shipping cost?
Free standard shipping within the EU and the UK on orders over EUR 80. Below that, EU/UK shipping is EUR 9.50. Worldwide tracked shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
How long does delivery take?
Orders placed by 14:00 EET on a working day leave our warehouse the same day. EU and UK deliveries typically arrive in three to seven working days. North America: seven to fourteen working days. Other destinations: see the shipping page.
Can I return a kit if my child doesn’t enjoy it?
Yes — physical items can be returned within 30 days as long as the contents are intact and resaleable. We pay return shipping for EU and UK customers. Read the full refund policy.
Payment
How can I pay?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. For orders over EUR 200 you can choose bank transfer (SEPA within the EU, SWIFT internationally). See the payment policy.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes. Prices on the site include applicable Estonian VAT. EU business customers who provide a valid VAT number at checkout will see the reverse-charge mechanism applied on the invoice.
Is my payment information secure?
Card details are entered on our payment processor’s secure form and tokenised. Shuren never stores raw card numbers.
Safeguarding & privacy
How do you handle student safety in online sessions?
Every tutor has a current background check on file. Sessions are recorded and stored for 30 days under a strict access policy. Students never communicate with tutors outside the school platform.
What data do you collect about students?
The minimum needed to run the course: name, age, school year, the family’s contact details and progress notes from each session. Details are in our privacy policy.
