Refund & Returns Policy

This policy explains how to return a physical item or cancel a course bought from Shuren International Education OÜ, registered at Sepapaja tn 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia. It applies in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom and equivalent jurisdictions.
1. Quick summary
- Live courses: cancel up to 14 days before the course starts for a full refund. After that, pro-rata credit toward a future term.
- Physical kits, books, workbooks: return within 30 days of delivery, unused or in resaleable condition.
- Digital downloads: non-refundable after you have downloaded the file, unless it is faulty.
- Faulty or damaged items: full refund or replacement, your choice, at our cost.
2. Live courses
2.1 Cancellation by you
You may cancel a live course at any point up to 14 days before the published start date for a full refund of the price paid. Cancellations made between 14 days and the start date receive a 50% refund or a 100% credit against a future Shuren course, your choice. Cancellations made after the course has begun receive a pro-rata credit (calculated by the number of sessions not yet held) against a future Shuren course; cash refunds are not available after the first session except where the course is cancelled by us.
2.2 Cancellation by us
If we cancel a cohort — for example, because we cannot fill it or because the tutor is unable to deliver it — you receive a full cash refund within five working days, or, at your choice, a place in the next available cohort.
3. Physical items
3.1 Right of withdrawal (EU / UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods without giving any reason, and to be refunded within fourteen days of returning the goods (Article 9 and 13 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU). This statutory minimum is shorter than the 30-day return window we offer voluntarily.
3.2 Our voluntary 30-day return window
Beyond the statutory minimum, we accept returns of physical items within 30 days of delivery, provided the items are unused or in resaleable condition (intact packaging, no missing components, no marks or writing in books or workbooks).
3.3 How to return an item
- Email support@shureninternationalschool.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.
- We send you a prepaid return label for EU and UK addresses. For other destinations we instruct on the cheapest return method; the cost is borne by the customer unless the item is faulty.
- Pack the items carefully and post them within 14 days of receiving the return label.
- Once we receive and inspect the items, we refund the original payment method within 5 working days.
3.4 Faulty or damaged items
If a physical item arrives faulty or damaged in transit, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photograph. We arrange replacement or refund at our cost, including return shipping.
4. Digital products
Digital materials (PDF workbooks, downloadable courses) are non-refundable after download because they cannot be returned. If the file is faulty, corrupt, or significantly differs from the description, contact us within 30 days for replacement or refund.
5. Refund timing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 working days of approval. Your bank may take additional time to make the funds available; this is outside our control.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU, UK or other applicable consumer-protection law.
